Overview of ARMHS
Housingcare Inc provides Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services( ARMHS) designed to help adults with serious mental illness develop and enhance their psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living skills. ARMHS supports clients in improving their ability to live in the community with greater independence.
Services Offered
Housingcar Inc ARMHS includes services such as:
- Basic Living and Social Skills: Helping clients develop daily living skills like cooking, cleaning, managing finances, and improving social interactions.
- Community Intervention: Assistance with resolving conflicts and improving relationships in the community, including with family, employers, and others.
- Medication Education: Providing clients with information and support around managing their medications properly.
- Transitioning to Community Living: Helping individuals move from institutional care (like hospitals) back into community living, including support with housing and accessing community resources.
Eligibility
Who is eligible for ARMHS services:
- Individuals 18 years or older.
- Must have a qualifying mental health diagnosis.
- Must have a functional impairment that affects independent living skills or social functioning.
- Typically, clients will need a referral from a mental health professional.
How ARMHS Works
Here is the process for receiving ARMHS with Housingcare Inc.
- Assessment by a mental health professional.
- Development of an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) based on the client’s needs and goals.
- Regular sessions with a mental health practitioner or ARMHS specialist to work on goals in the treatment plan.
